What is an NIE number in Spain?

The NIE is the Spanish tax identification number assigned to non-resident in Spain, which is required for most formal administrative procedures carried out in Spain.
An 
NIE number will be required when you buy or sell the property in Spain, Inherit assets in Spain, apply for a business permit, apply for a mortgage or other type of loan, open a bank account and pay your taxes.

What is a Digital Certificate in Spain?

The digital certificate is an electronic document that has the function of identifying a person on the   spanish autorities website. It is issued by a Certification Authority or a qualified certification service provider and is the only way to legally guarantee that the person who owns it is a real person, validating their identification data through encryption that ensures that it is authentic and has not been manipulated.

Rental Contracts & Touristic Licenses

 

Tourist License

We offer the service of obtaining 'Tourist Licenses' to our clients who wish to obtain additional income by renting out their Spanish properties in the Valencian Community.

To obtain this license, you will need certain documents and your property must meet certain requirements established by the Valencian Government.

The standard package of documents is the following:

  • Certificate of Approved Compatibility

  • Copy of NIE number

  • Copy of Passport

  • Copy of ‘Housing Certificate’ or the application of the ‘Second Occupancy License’

  • Signed Application Form (no photocopies)
